Bringing families together

For many, coming to the United States is a dream come true. Bringing loved ones to the U.S. after you have established legal residency or citizenship completes that dream.

Whether you are seeking to immigrate to the United States or you are a family member residing in the U.S., it is important to know your rights and potential immigration opportunities.

Our firm is committed to assisting clients in the United States and throughout the world in becoming reunited with their family members, including fiancés, spouses and siblings. Understanding that every family immigration case is unique, we provide tailored services to best accomplish your needs. From collecting necessary documentation, through preparation, filing, and interviews, our attorneys will remain committed to your family's immigration matter.

Sponsorship of Immediate Relatives

Family-based immigration ranges from bringing in immediate relatives of U.S. citizens to "preference" relatives in several categories. The United States has provisions for certain visa holders to bring dependents such as their spouses and children on accompanying visas:

  • Fiancées — K-1 visa
  • Green card through marriage
  • Spouses — K-3 visa
  • Siblings — Green card for siblings
  • Family petitions for adopted children & step-children
  • Immigrant Visas

In addition to helping you bring family members from overseas on nonimmigrant or immigrant visas, we can also assist you in pursuing adjustment of status. Adjustment of status is the legal process in which certain foreign nationals residing in the U.S. can change status to 'permanent resident'. The application process can be highly complex and requires thorough review of one's immigration history, a large amount of documentation, preparation of application, filing fees, and appearance at an adjustment of status interview at a local USCIS office.

While not everyone qualifies for Adjustment of Status, an experienced attorney can effectively evaluate your individual and family circumstances to determine your eligibility.
