You decide

The Veterans Service Organizations (VSO's) have been assisting and representing veterans in their claims against the VA for many years at no charge to the veteran. We would prefer say at no cost to the veteran but, unfortunately, there is a cost. The Disabled American Veteran's (DAV) organization is perhaps the most recognized VSO and has offices located in most VA Regional Offices located across the country. The DAV's attitude in fighting for your rights is clear.

In opposing the law allowing veterans to retain attorneys, the DAV wrote "the VA claims process should remain open, helpful, informal, and pro-veteran," stating that "allowing attorneys to prosecute VA claims...is likely to change the non-adversarial relationship between the [veteran]...and the VA decision makers."

Do you want someone who has a duty and desire to zealously represent your rights and fight those who would deny or limit the benefits you earned, or would you prefer someone who wants an "open, helpful," and "non-adversarial relationship" with the VA decision makers as they determine which benefits they will grant you in helping you to achieve your future?.

At the Law Office of Russell T. Doncouse, we practice Veterans Benefits law in a manner that is based upon a common-sense approach to legal issues, and as veterans benefits lawyers in Texas, we have a large number of fellow advocates who constantly consult with each other to find solutions. We believe in exhibiting the highest level of integrity while always keeping your best interests at heart.
